The area of Southwark just south of London Bridge was also the head of the Pilgrim s Way from London to Canterbury. For hundreds of years there have been many inns and trades related to horses and travel in this neighbourhood.

The Trail starts and ends close to London Bridge Station. The first clue is located inside Southwark Cathedral (free to enter for individuals and small groups).
